An architecture practice in Melbourne run by Stephen Thick and Olivia Peel, working on projects in Victoria and Western Australia.
The practice is interested in expressing rich and concise ideas of domesticity, space, and tectonics that are formed through an integrated understanding of a project’s context, the needs and desires of its clients and inhabitants, and a specifically ‘Australian’ relationship to architectural language, history and culture.
The practice offers full architectural services from feasibility and concept design to construction contract administration for various project types and scales, including new houses, alterations and additions, and small multi-residential, retail, civic and cultural buildings.
Stephen and Olivia both graduated with a Master of Architecture from the University of Western Australia.
Both are registered architects with the Architects Registration Board of Victoria and the Architects Board of Western Australia.
Both currently teach architectural studios at the University of Melbourne and have both previously taught at the University of Western Australia.
